7.14.07 Skydiving Part Duex Come join Oregon Active in wishing our good friend Sarah Stephens the best of luck while falling 120 mph from 13,000 feet. Tandem Freefall Skydives are a superb introduction to the sport of skydiving. After less than an hour of preparation on the ground, you'll share a parachute system designed for two people with a fully licensed Tandem Instructor. You and your Tandem Instructor will exit the aircraft at an altitude of 13,000 feet (that’s higher than the top of Mt. Hood) and freefall at 120 mph for nearly one minute before opening your parachute. Sounds fun, right?
7.11.07 Midnight Bungee Jumping For the first time in 3 years, Casey Dale, the owner and "Grand Poobah" of Bungee.com opened his bridge for Oregon Active members to enjoy a rare dose of adrenaline..We jumped at midnight into the dark abyss..Chappy growled, Devin screamed, and Sara...well those were some high pitch noises..It was even crazier at night and stay tuned because we are planning another midnight jump soon!!
