This fun filled day will include a Kiteboarding Derby Race, a Pro Rider Freestyle Session, Auction, and After Party

Come join Oregon Active in supporting the first KB4C event on August 25th 2007. This fun filled day will include a Kiteboarding Derby Race, a Pro Rider Freestyle Session, a Silent Auction, Raffle, and Awards Party. Come watch professional kiteboarders Dimitri Maramenides and Sky Solbach, along with numerous regional rippers put on a show for the spectators and participants. This event will take place at the exclusive Hood River Event Site, a grassy waterfront spot normally reserved for windsurfing only. Let’s not forget plenty of live music, big thrills, and of course, the after party. Oregon Active will have the ORA boat along with Jet Ski’s to provide a front row seat to this exciting event. We will provide transportation to and from the event and all we ask is you bring your good attitudes and big smiles.

3 days of Boarding, Rock Climbing, and Rafting

It's time to take off that long overdue three day weekend and join Oregon Active for the inaugural 2007 Bend Endurance Weekend. Three intense days of Boarding, climbing, and rafting.. We're kicking it off all day Friday Wakeboarding behind two boats and soaking in the sun at the beautiful Prineville Reservoir..All day Saturday will be spent rock climbing at world renown Smith Rock. Known as some of the best rock climbing in the world, there are several thousand different climbs in the park with over a thousand of them bolted. Our local guides will show you first hand the basics of climbing and can accommodate all skill levels from first timers to experienced climbers. Just when you feel like taking a break, come spend Sunday white water rafting down the "Big Eddy Thriller" as we are guided through the upper Deschutes.

Ripping down the White Salmon.

Well the weather is finally supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny this weekend so why not spend it on the river white water rafting? Come join Oregon Active as we tackle the White Salmon River this Sunday August 12th. We are meeting at the Starbucks parking lot just off the Sylvan Exit on Highway 26 at 11:30 am. If you have not had a chance to run this river, it certainly wont let you down..With plenty of class III - IV rapids and a waterfall at the end, it is one of the best floats around..
