Bigs For A Day - Week Two Fire Station Tour

Week two the Littles travel to Fire Station # 1 for a “handson”
tour of the facility and a interactive learning experience
of what it’s like to be a firefighter. Littles will get a tour of
the station, demo of a proper “pole slide”, a tour of all 3
fire engines, demo of lights and equipment, Q & A session,
and get the opportunity to ride around the block in a fire
truck. For the finale we will take the kids on a “basket ride”
where they will get to go up in the air inside a fire truck
basket.

Bigs For A Day - Week One Rockclimbing

Oregon Active has teamed up with Big Brothers Big Sisters and have created "Bigs For a Day" An Urban Adventure Series. A six week adventure program that includes Rock Climbing, Fire Station Tours, Hiking, Paintballing, Kayaking, and Caving. We are looking for volunteers to help with this exciting program. You can volunteer for one week, two weeks, or all six..They will be every Wednesday evening for six weeks from 5:30pm - 8:30 pm starting May 14th
