Tour Oregon's Wine Country by Bicycle

Oregon Active members unite and join us for a beautiful bike ride tour in Oregon's wine country. This cycling event benefits the Children's Cancer Association.

~ The Vine Ride begins in Oregon Wine Country, at the Newberg High School campus in Newberg, Oregon.
~The routes include charming villages, century-old farms, berry groves & vineyards.
~There are 35, 65, and 100 mile courses, plenty of food, support and entertainment! Cost is $42 (by August 8) or $52 (August 9-15).
~ Riders get a chance to win many great prizes. Top prize is a 2009
European road bike provided by Lakeside Bicycles!

Come join our team for a nice relaxing tour through wine country and support a wonderful organization.

Macapalooza 3 - An outdoor music festival for a cause
Saturday, Aug 15th 2009

Come support the Oregon Active Foundation by attending the 3rd Annual Macapalooza outdoor music festival on Saturday August 15th.

~ Outdoor Beer Gardem
~ Keegan Smith and the Family
~ Bryan Flannery Band
~ 2 stages, 3 bands, drink specials
~ 5pm - 2am

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Oregon Active Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit dedicated to providing outdoor adventures for young adults battling cancer, at risk youth, and members of our community with disabilities.

Best kiting event in Hood River

Oregon Active is pleased to be a part of KB4C for the 3rd straight year. Kiteboarding 4 Cancer is probably the best kiting event in Hood River and every year it gets better. Pro Kiters from all over the world compete in a Kite Derby Endurance Race, Slider 4 Cancer, Freestyle event, Standup Paddle Race and more. There will also be live music all day, cold beverages, great BBQ, Auctions, Raffles, and a fun way to spend the afternoon for a good cause.

First Thursday in the Pearl @ Blitz. Test your stationary bike skills

Oregon Active, Red Bull, and 42 Below are teaming up to bring you "Gold Sprints" in the Pearl on first Thursday.

~ Participants will race on stationary bikes getting points for speed and distance
~ Male & Female division
~ Winner takes home a 42 Below custom track bike
~ Oregon Active Adventure Giveaway
~ Test your stationary bike skills and join us at the Blitz Parking Lot Party. Event starts at 4:00!
